If I had to choose between reading a book entirely written in pictures or words, I suppose I would choose words. I prefer reading a book with words because you can get details about what the characters are like and know more about them. While I do enjoy being able to get a visual of how the author intended the characters and scenes to appear, I don't feel that only pictures are enough. Words allow the author to really describe a character's motivations and personality. If I could choose both, as in our book Wonderstruck, I would. However, if I must have one over the other, I would take text.
